Open a photo and the Add Watermark dialog opens with a preview. Type your name or pick a logo, choose a corner, the center or Tile, and set size, opacity and angle. Click OK and the watermark lands on its own layer, so you can move, fade or delete it.
- Click Choose a photo to watermark, or drop a photo anywhere on the page. The Add Watermark dialog opens with the photo in a preview.
- Under Type, keep Text and type your words (the swatch next to the field sets the color), or click Image / Logo and pick a file. A PNG with a transparent background works best for a logo.
- Click one of the nine position squares, or tick Tile across image to repeat it diagonally. Set Opacity (5–100%), Size (1–40% of the shorter side) and Margin, or Angle when tiling.
- Click OK. A layer named Watermark appears in the Layers panel: move it with the Move tool, change its opacity there, or delete it. Then export with File > Export > Export As.
- How do I add a watermark to all my photos at once?
- Choose File > Scripts > Image Processor…, pick Use Open Images or Select Folder, and tick Watermark; the same text, logo, position and opacity settings appear. The processed files download as one zip, and the same dialog can resize them and limit each file size. The photos are processed in your browser and not uploaded.
- Can I use my own logo?
- Yes. Click Image / Logo in the dialog and pick the file. Size is the logo's width as a percentage of the photo's shorter side, so one setting looks the same on portrait and landscape photos. Use a transparent PNG; a JPG logo brings its white box with it.
- Can I pick the font for a text watermark?
- Not yet: the text is drawn in the system font with a soft shadow so it reads on light and dark areas. For a specific font, add the text with the Type tool and lower that layer's opacity in the Layers panel.
- Is the watermark burned into the photo?
- Only when you export. Inside Photopip it is a separate layer with the opacity set on the layer, so you can move it, fade it or delete it. Save as PSD (File > Save As) to keep it editable.
