Add a logo watermark to many photos at once

Set your name or logo once and every photo in the set comes back marked, with no watermark of ours.

How to use it

Select every photo you want marked. The first one opens with the Add Watermark dialog and a live preview: type your name or pick a logo, then choose a corner or tile it across the photo. Click OK and the same settings run over the whole set. When the last photo is done, the card shows a thumbnail of each result, cropped to the corner where the mark landed, and nothing is downloaded until you click Download ZIP.

  1. Click Choose your photos and select the whole set, or drop the photos on the page. The first photo opens with the Add Watermark dialog and a live preview.
  2. Type your name in the text box, or click Image / Logo and pick a transparent PNG. Click one of the nine position squares, or select Tile across image, then set Opacity, Size and Margin.
  3. Click OK. The card counts the photos as they are done, then shows a thumbnail of each result. To fix one photo, click its thumbnail: it opens with the watermark on a layer of its own, so you can drag it with the Move Tool (V). Then click Put back in the batch.
  4. Click Download ZIP. Each file keeps its name with -watermarked added. For another corner or a lighter mark, click Change watermark… first; the whole set runs again.
ItemDetails
OpensJPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, AVIF, GIF and BMP; no fixed number of photos
WatermarkText in the system font, or an image such as a logo; nine positions or tiled; opacity 5–100%; size 1–40% of each photo's shorter side
SavesOne ZIP named watermarked-N.zip. JPG, PNG and WEBP keep their format; the others are saved as PNG
WhereIn your browser; the photos are not uploaded

Text is drawn in the system font; for a particular typeface, save your name as a transparent PNG and use it as a logo. A JPG logo brings its white box with it. HEIC, AVIF, GIF and BMP photos come back as PNG, so an iPhone HEIC photo becomes a much larger file, and an animated GIF keeps only its first frame. On a busy background a white mark can disappear; raise Opacity or pick a darker color. Every photo is re-encoded (JPG and WEBP at quality 92) and EXIF data, location included, is not kept. Photos over 100 megapixels (about 16.7 megapixels on iPhone and iPad) are scaled down to fit and still marked; files that can't be read are named on the card and left out of the ZIP.

Is the mark the same size on portrait and landscape photos?
Yes. Size is a percentage of each photo's shorter side, and so is the margin, so a 5% mark looks the same on a tall phone photo and a wide product shot.
How many photos can I do at once?
There is no fixed number. The photos are processed one after another in your browser while the card counts them. On a phone, split a large set into a few rounds.
What if I close the card before downloading?
Nothing is lost. If you haven't downloaded yet, ✕ folds the report into one line that still has Download ZIP. Only ✕ on that line, followed by Discard, throws the results away.
Can I move the mark on just one photo?
Click that photo's thumbnail. It opens with the watermark on a layer of its own; drag it with the Move Tool, then click Put back in the batch. The ZIP gets your version of that photo.
Can someone crop the watermark off?
A corner mark can be cropped off. Tile across image repeats it over the whole photo, which makes it harder to remove, though not impossible.
