Resize screenshots for the App Store: 1206 × 2622

Get both iPhone sizes App Store Connect asks for, as 24-bit PNG with no alpha channel; up to 10 screenshots at a time.

How to use it

App Store Connect's Screenshot specifications page (checked 27 Oct 2026) requires at least one screenshot for iPhone with Dynamic Island (medium display), 1179 × 2556 or 1206 × 2622, and its table marks the large-display size as required when no Dynamic Island large screenshots are provided. Choose up to 10 screenshots and each one is made at 1206 × 2622 and at 1320 × 2868, as 24-bit PNG with no alpha channel, in one ZIP.

  1. Click Choose screenshots and select up to 10 of them, or drop them on the page. PNG, JPG and WebP open.
  2. Read the card. If a screenshot has transparent corners, the first line says so; click Remove transparency to fill them with the color at the screenshot's edge.
  3. Click Download all (ZIP). The ZIP has a 1206x2622 folder and a 1320x2868 folder; in App Store Connect, drop each folder's files on the matching display size.
  4. For an iPad app, click iPad 13 inch on the card before you download: each screenshot is made at 2064 × 2752 instead, and the ZIP holds one file per screenshot with -2064x2752 added to its name.

The card resizes screenshots; it doesn't add frames or captions. A screenshot within 2% of the target shape fills it and the overflow is trimmed evenly from both sides (a few pixels for current iPhones); an older, wider screenshot is placed whole, with the edge color added above and below or at the sides. iPhone Duo sizes and app previews (video) are not made here. App Store Connect has the final say when you upload, and App Review checks the content separately. Photopip is not affiliated with Apple.

Which iPhone size is required?
The "Required device sizes" section asks for at least one screenshot for iPhone with Dynamic Island (medium display): 1179 × 2556 or 1206 × 2622. The table further down marks iPhone with Face ID (large display) as required if your app runs on iPhone and no Dynamic Island (large display) screenshots are provided. Uploading both folders from the ZIP satisfies either reading.
Do I still need 6.5-inch or 5.5-inch screenshots?
No. When the interface is the same across sizes, App Store Connect scales the highest required size down for smaller devices. Upload your own only if you want different screenshots per size.
Is an iPad screenshot required?
Only if your app runs on iPad: then at least one for the 13-inch display, 2064 × 2752 or 2048 × 2732. Take it on an iPad or the iPad simulator; an iPhone screenshot on an iPad canvas ends up with wide bars at the sides.
What about iPhone Duo?
The specifications list 1398 × 2034 for the outer display and 2007 × 2853 for the inner one, required from April 2027 for apps built with the iOS 27.1 SDK or later. The card doesn't make those sizes yet.
Why does App Store Connect reject my PNG?
Usually transparency: screenshots exported from a design tool often have transparent rounded corners, and App Store Connect doesn't accept alpha. The card flags it, Remove transparency fills the corners with the edge color, and the files are written as 24-bit PNG with no alpha channel at all.
Can it add device frames or captions?
No. The card only fixes size and transparency; frames and captions belong in your design tool before you export.
