How to use it

Indian recruitment portals set both a floor and a ceiling. NIOT asks for a JPEG photo over 12 KB and up to 50 KB, and a JPEG signature over 10 KB and up to 20 KB. SSC CGL 2026 takes the photo live in the form and asks for a 10–20 KB signature about 6.0 × 2.0 cm. UPSC asks for a 20–200 KB photo on a plain white background (checked 27 Oct 2026).

  1. Pick Photo (12–50 KB) or Signature (10–20 KB), then check the pixels and the KB floor and ceiling against your form.
  2. Click Choose a file. For a photo, a copy goes to our server to find the person, is used only for that and is deleted within an hour. A signature stays in your browser: the paper is made white and the image is cropped to the ink.
  3. Read the card. A result under the floor gets higher JPG quality automatically; if even top quality is too small, the card offers Double the pixels.
  4. Click Download JPG and upload it to the form.

Only pixels, file size and background are checked. SSC CGL 2026 captures your photo live, so upload only the signature. UPSC asks for both: upload a photo, then a live photo is taken at submission. UPSC also wants the face to cover at least 75% of the photo; this page frames the head smaller than that, so it can't make a UPSC photo yet. UPSC's signature is three signatures one below the other, 20–100 KB, 350–500 px; this page doesn't lay out three signatures, so make that one elsewhere. The signature clean-up expects dark ink on light paper.

How do I resize my signature to 10–20 KB?
Pick Signature (10–20 KB) and choose a photo of your signature. The paper is made white, the image is cropped to the ink and saved as a 600 × 200 JPG inside the range; if it lands under 10 KB, click Double the pixels.
Why is my signature file only 4 KB?
A small white image with thin ink compresses very well: the sample signature at 300 × 100 px tops out at 5 KB even at full quality. That is why the signature size here is 600 × 200; if it still lands under the floor, double the pixels.
My form takes a live photo. What now?
Then upload only the signature here. SSC CGL 2026 captures the photo in the form.
